Baby Cardi

Voilá! One tiny raglan cardigan sweater completed. DK yarn knit on US 2 needles gave teeny stitches and a slightly stiff fabric. The pattern was based on a baby sweater knitted by my friend’s grandmother and has no seams. Seamless sweaters rock. Giftee to a friend for her new baby boy, I hope she likes it.

Here’s the pdf pattern.

Here it is on Ravelry.

Another Leanne that couldn’t find what age the cardi is for. It’s very lovely though! I might just knit anyway :)

  3. I’m so sorry. This was made so long ago and gifted, so I have no idea what the finished measurements are. Based on the math (#stitches/gauge), the sweater should measure about 10-inches across and 9.5-inches neck to hem. Here’s a pic of a newborn in the finished sweater – http://jenniferhoel.wordpress.com/2006/04/25/action-shot/
