Told you it was messy.
Thanks Bee Gees.
So, what’s new?
We’ve survived the long, cold winter. It’s back in the 60s finally.
This is how I leave my boys most mornings. Chillin’ on the sofa watching Bob Ross on PBS. Do I sound jealous? Because I am jealous.
Anyway, the real reason for this post is to brag on my baby’s ever improving spoon skills. He really feeds himself these days. In fact he usually won’t let us feed him, unless he’s totally starving and then he’ll work his spoon and we shovel food in while he’s reloading. It’s very, very messy. I’ll try for an action shot this week.
Do note that I caved. We trimmed the boy’s bangs and mullet. I guess he’s still cute, but he looks like such a big kid now…
That’s all I got.
THAT’s all I got.
Been awhile, no? We’re still freezing down here in Charleston. It’s crazy. I’d have stayed in PA if I wanted to deal with this kind of weather.
The boy is getting so big. He’s totally walking now. Starting to pick up speed to run even. He’s still not very interested in talking, but has picked up several new signs that he uses when he sees fit. It seems that Liam is holding out on us. He certainly understands most of what we say to him and, I suspect, knows more signs than he lets on. Please and thank you seem to show up more frequently when he really wants something and we’re holding out.
For example, he grabbed the remote control from my hands and, before I could object, smiled and signed “thank you.” Hmmm…
Even though it’s chilly, we still try to get out most days. He likes throwing and chasing his kickball, sometimes kicking it while squeaking “kick!” We’ve also been cruising the neighborhood in our new car. A wonderful Christmas present from A. Ninny, U. Matt, Bella, and Tate! Please excuse the cell phone pic.
He’s an all around fun guy, pretty easy going, and just bad enough to be interesting. How’d we get so lucky?
I did a crap job taking pictures over the holiday. Feel free to view the meager collection at picasaweb – Christmas 2009. Working on the video…
Hope everyone had a lovely holiday.
